David SamadhiDev Browning and Lalla Dawn Breeze are the Co-Founders of the Samadhi Retreat & Meditation Center near Athens Texas.

DAVID

David had a spontaneous spiritual awakening in 1997 with no prior interest in enlightenment and spent the next 16 years becoming fully established in the enlightened mind. From 2010 to 2012 David visited India and spent the majority of his time "in silence" at many of the monasteries, ashrams, and temples, sitting in on meditations, empowerments, and teachings. Near the end of his India visit, he received the critical Buddhist teaching of “Conventional vs. Ultimate Awareness” from a quiet monk on a midnight stroll. This became the crucial key needed to convey the ultimate truths that he had experienced into conventional language. David has dedicated his life, to facilitating an environment where it is possible to help others to silence their minds and enter into the awakened state of consciousness that he now abides in at all times. LALLA

Lalla has studied metaphysical spirituality and healing work since 1987. Because of this passion, she became a Reiki Master Teacher, a Licensed Massage Therapist, a Tai Chi Instructor; and an avid student of many energy work modalities. As a mode of self-reflection, she has given up all energy work practices while she releases all her self-imposed dogma and concepts. Lalla is living at the Samadhi Retreat as a student and assisting David in producing and promoting the Mystic 7 Course. She also creates exquisite malas, instructs Samadhi Yoga, and is an amazing cook during the Samadhi Silent Retreats.

Through the Mystic 7 Course that he created, David has discovered that it is possible to express the inexpressible, so that others may have the direct mystical experience as Source which is essential for abiding in the enlightened mind. In September 2016, David and Lalla published their book based on the Mystic 7 Course entitled: The Mystic's Guide To Enlightenment; Seven Keys To Abiding In The Enlightened Mind.  

The Samadhi Retreat & Meditation Center is a 5,200 square foot adobe style ranch house recently remodeled as a meditation center to host Mystic 7 Retreats. It is located on 20 acres of beautiful woodlands with a 7-acre lake just south of Athens Texas.  

The Samadhi Retreat is currently scheduling 3-Day Silent Retreats to immerse participants in Source Consciousness, which facilitates awakening into the enlightened mind. The Samadhi Retreat facility is also available to host yoga retreats and other spiritual events. 

The Samadhi Retreat & Meditation Center and the Mystic 7 Course, facilitated by David and Lalla, are non-dogmatic and religion-free; they embrace the mystical essence of all religions without being limited to any philosophy or creed.

The Samadhi Retreat & Meditation Center is located between Athens and Palestine Texas, about an hour and a half south of Dallas, an hour southwest of Tyler.

The Samadhi Retreat & Meditation Center; Center Of Source Consciousness is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing an atmosphere conducive for members to have the direct experience of Source Consciousness. The Center Of Source Consciousness is a non-dogmatic, non-denominational, multicultural organization holding services weekly at the Samadhi Retreat, and a weekly Prison Ministry at TDCJ Boyd Unit in Teague Texas.
